November 24th, 2007

 8-25-10   Way to go Theresa and “Capri”!  They went to 6 shows and came home with a 3 point major to finish her CKC CH., 6 Best of Breeds, 1 Grp 3, 2 Grp 4’s, and 2 Puppy Grp 1’s!!!!!!   Pretty spectacular since Capri is only 7 months old!!!!   Win photo’s are added to Capri in Extended Family.

8-8-10    EXCITING NEWS,  Pebble whelped 10 puppies on August 5!!!!!!   THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE  Pebble x Bolero LITTER THAT PRODUCED Amber, Lyric and Nitro.  PUPS WILL HAVE EXCEPTIONAL TEMPERAMENTS.  Accepting a few more reservations at this time.

8-2-10  Great weekend!   “Reagan” (Buff Cap Intrigue) took a 4 point major and BOW at an AKC show over 38 class dogs and bitches.  “Wynona” took 2 Grand Champion select awards (there were 2 special dogs and 4 special bitches and both were over 4 point majors).   “Capri” (Buff Cap Sugar Land) took WB at 3 shows and BOW at 2 shows and 3 Best Puppy.  At 6 months of age she has 7 points and two 3 point majors toward her CKC championship!   Congrats to Theresa who did a great job showing her girl this weekend!

7- 22-10  Congratulations to Linda and “Ike” (Buff Cap Manifesto) on his Winners Dog and Reserve Winners Dog at the Sparkler ASCA shows!

6-14-10  CONGRATULATIONS to Linda and Lee on “Tucker” who is nowAKC/ASCA CH. Buff Cap Sterling RS-O, JV-E, GS-N, NAC, NJC, TN-N!!!!  He finished his ASCA Championship under Senior Breeder judge Nikki Marenback Hengy at the Colors of Summer show.  Congratulations to Brent on “Wynona” who was shown at two shows and took 2 Best of Breeds and achieved a started cattle title at an ASCA show this past weekend.  Also big congrats on “Reagan” who was shown one time at an ASCA show this past weekend and took a Best of Breed her first time out as a Special over 30 dogs including 2 special males and 1 special girl under Senior Breeder judge Denise Creelman.

6-3-10  At an ASCA show this past weekend, “Luke” took WD twice and one Reserve and a BOS, “Spirit” took a 5 point major and a RWD, “Whisper” took a BOS and “Wynona” took a BOB and a BOS.  “Trace” had many class wins in large classes.  “Sophie” took WB in every show she was shown.

5-22-10  Congratulations to Regina and “Shine” on their third legs and two blues to earn a CD and RE!!!!   Way to go Team Shine!

5-13-10   Congratulations to Karyn and “Nitro” on their 4 point major for his second AKC major!!!!

5-3-10 Recent brags:  “Belle”  captured her first ASCA points with Theresa handling her.  “Wynona”  and Brent took 4 out of 5 Best of Breeds last weekend at ASCA shows.   I am so proud of Regina and “Shine”.  They went to their first two novice obedience trials and came away with two CD legs and two blue ribbons!!!!!  They also earned a second Rally Excellent leg and tied for first place!

4-7-10 The publishers of the 2009 Australian Shepherd Annual asked me to write an article on my dogs.   I am proud to say they have published it under Breeder Spotlight, Buff Cap Aussies!!!!!!!

3-23-10  Last weekend was awesome!  “Reagan”, my Bolero x Swizzle daughter finished her ASCA Championship at 13 months of age in limited showing under the capable hands of Brent Kindred.  See pictures and wins at www.laconiaaussies.com.   “Wynona” and Brent took more BOS!    I showed “Spirit” to a Winners Dog and “Luke”  to a A-RWD at our ASCA show.  Linda Prager took RWD with Tucker.   Big congrats to Francine Guerra and  daughter, Katherine Menches on their wins at our ASCA show.   Katherine superbly handled  “Austin” who is by Buff Cap Schooner to his Championship and took a 5 point major with “Pepsi”, Austin’s daughter.  Way to go, Katherine!!!!!!!! 

 

3-15-10  The past bunch of weekends have more wins to note!   Congratulations to Brent on his excellent handling of the girls!  “Wynona” has more BOB and BOS wins still keeping her at #2 in the National Merit Standings, beating 900+ dogs so far!  “Reagan” went to AKC shows and won WB and RWB and ASCA shows for several more RWB.  “Luke”  went to ASCA shows and came home with two BOB, one BOS and one RWD wins, thanks to Katherine Menches.   Congratulations to “Shine”  and Regina who earned their first Rally Excellent leg with a first place win and score of 98!!!     The ROM banquet brought High Point Awards for the 2009 show year to “Luke”, “Trace” “Martina” and “Bolero” !!!

2-10-10  I have not updated because of Holidays, Winter and Limited shows.    Brent and Wynona have captured more BOB and some BOS making her #2 in the National Merit Standings as of this date.   Brent and Reagan have another WB and several RWB in limited shows.  See Reagan pictures and wins at “Just Visiting”  at www.laconiaaussies.com     “Belle” and Theresa went to a show this past weekend and she was BOS at all 3 shows.  See Belle pictures and wins at    www.casselcreek.com                         “Nitro” (  Buff Cap Nyrakym What Is True) and Karyn won a prestigous 5 point major under Pat Hastings!!!!   This past weekend “Luke” was Winners Dog and Best of Breed over a special on Saturday and Winners Dog, Best of Winners and BOS on Sunday for 3 more points.   “Spirit” took a Reserve on Saturday and “Trace” who just turned 9 months took a Reserve on Sunday to  Linda and “Denver” (Buff Cap Cowboy’s Like Us) who took a 3 point major for his third major!!!!!
